The youngest Israeli hostage held by Hamas, his 4-year-old brother and their mom were killed by Israeli bombing on the Gaza Strip, the terror group’s military arm said Wednesday without evidence. Handing off a 10-month-old hostage, Kfir Bibas, to another terrorist faction, with the obvious aim of wreaking extra pain on Israel and Jews worldwide — and then, the very day after revealing that, trumpeting claims that Kfir and his brother and mom got killed in an IDF shelling attack. Hamas presented no evidence for the deaths or for Israeli culpability. And given the group’s propaganda around the al-Ahli Hospital attack, it’s not unreasonable to assume that the three may well be dead at the hands of the terrorists Hamas entrusted them to. The three had been abducted along with patriarch Yarden from their home in Kibbutz Nir Oz on Oct. 7, and the photogenic, redheaded youngsters, known affectionately as “The Reds,” had become something of a symbol of the terror attack’s brutality. “The terrorist organization Hamas continues to act in a cruel and inhuman manner,” the IDF said in a statement. Hamas had previously reported 77-year-old hostage Hannah Katzir to have been killed in captivity by an Israeli attack, but Katzir was released last week, alive and well.
